Best Financial Books to Read

Here’s the thing… you aren’t going to get ahead if you don’t put in some learning time and make an effort to increase your financial literacy.

A very important key to becoming financially confident is gaining as much knowledge as you possibly can. Sure, you could talk to your family, or friends, or get coached and gain a new perspective but in order to brush up on your financial literacy game, it’s good to pick up a book.

I’ve been reading personal finance books for as long as I can remember. My first was “The Wealthy Barber” by David Chilton. I went to open my first investment account immediately after reading it! This is what good books do, they inspire you to take action. Now more than ever we have tons of exposure to these types books, and get to decide who resonates with us. Some will talk solely about investing and some may help you dig deeper into understanding your money stories or limiting beliefs around money. What’s great is you can decide what you want to learn here.

I always recommend finishing the book. You never know what golden nugget of financial life-changing information could be in just one sentence in a book.

Here are a few of my favorites and a quick description.
